AlBingo: Longest we can get is a 3 hour tape that records for 6 on long play
leaper1: there are still a few 4 hr tapes around chris
MikeKraken: for a T-120, SP = 2 hours, LP = 4 hours, SLP (EP) = 6 hours
SueJBakula: I've got mine on 4 hour tapes on LP I can get 8 episodes on 1 tape
AlBingo: I remember when you could buy Music cassette tapes that recorded for 90 minutes on each side
AlBingo: And VHS tapes that could record on both sides

MikeKraken: Joy, I don't think they make VCRs with LP anymore. My VCR from the early '90s has all three, but one we bought in 2000 only has the two (both GE, similar model)

MikeKraken: oh yeah, I forgot it has that feature... that's gotta be something really handy, tho', to figure out
TinaAlsGirl5: Yeah, once I can figure it out. :) I've used the copy several times, and it's great. You can match speeds and all that. And it has hook-ups in the *front* for hooking your camera to it

TinaAlsGirl5: Man, I've been dropping hints left and right for my ex-father that I want Pinnacle Studio 8 for my birthday, but I've figured out that he's getting me some kind of 3-D program instead. Not that I wouldn't want one, but I want Pinnacle more.

SueJBakula: Joy, I've tried the Demo verion of Pinnicle Studio 8 and it ate up 8 gig of my HD and wouldnt give it back even after uninstal

alsplacebartender: yeah the only thing about Pinnacle Studio is that it does take up a lot of space for the video capture initially. I got a second hard drive to hold it

alsplacebartender: but as long as you have a 30 to 40 GB hard drive, you shouldn't have problems
alsplacebartender: most PC's have those now

TinaAlsGirl5: Oh, yeah. I know he's getting me a really big hard drive and upgrading my processor to go over 1.0 Ghz

TinaAlsGirl5: I hang out at the QL newsgroup through GoogleGroups. They're not a very... exciting group compared to the Al's Place members

TinaAlsGirl5: I keep trying to recruit them over to Al's Place.

We're gonna have a new principal (well, that's actually good because I hate our current one), we're having a new way of doing our block scheduling, a lot of our probationary teachers are getting non-renewed 'cause of budget cuts, certain electives are getting cut out, sports fees are being heightened..... man. :(

MikeKraken: I have always used IE Joy, until I got DSL and only Netscape would work with it, but I've always secretly loved Netscape more. <LOL>

Dman176: that happened to a guy I used to work with years ago, but he lived in the Harlem area

jannagalaxy: my first story was a really good idea but I didn't write it well
