I like the cover art... I'm liking how they are making each of the sets a different "leap" colour. The one word I am wary about, however, in the title is "Complete". I highly doubt we're going to see the episodes remain intact. Thus, I probably won't be owning this set, either. <sigh>

Well, Morgan, that sounds like the classic brush-off to me. As for the cover art, gee, we're back to pictures of Al and Sam from season 1. :rolleyes Looks decent though. How creative these geniuses in the art department are...first we have just Sam with a blue background, then we have...[drumroll] Sam AND Al with a tinted purple background, now we have a season 1 Sam and Al with a green background. Genius I tell ya! For season 4 I'm going to go out on a limb here but maybe, just maybe they will have Sam and Al BUT will have another color of the rainbow? Maybe yellow? The suspense is killing me!!

Yeah, for sure... as soon as I heard that TVShowsonDVD took it down, I went and found it on one of the other DVD sites. It's now safely on my work laptop (and will be in my e-mail soon). :b

I'm glad they won't be using that one! Sam looks like he's trying to hold back a loud laugh.

I'm wondering, was the originally cover pulled by Universal Studios at the last minute due to the outcry by us Quantum Leap fans? Did they suddenly realise that we wanted just put up any any old garage, just because it has Quantum Leap on the cover? Did they pull it, because we said that if Season 3 was anything like Season 2, then we would not purchase it?

I am hoping that this is the case, because if it is so, then that means Universal Studios will strive to make Season 3 a better box-set than Season 2 and prehaps even, reissue Season 2 to Leapers who have purchased the disgrace of a boxset, Season 2.

Well I can live in hope.

I liked the first one....because for once it was from a real photoshoot!!! :rolleyes :

I believe they slightly altered Sam's smile and they just cut and pasted Al's head from an entirely different picture and tilted it at an angle. Now it makes him look shorter and not quite proportional. That's probably why the tint of his face is a little brighter than the original too because of light from a different scene. Sam looks unhappy now. Reminds me of the "Lee Harvey Oswald" episode where they mentioned the same idea in Oswald's photograph.

Hm...I also see a photo from "Camikazi Kid" and "The Right Hand Of God" as well. I thought it was just Sam and Al that were out of season at first. Looks like they really don't care about keeping the photos relative to the season that's being released! They're getting a little lazy if you ask me!

It appears to me as if both faces are copy pasted from another picture... This is just BAD!!! I think it's really ugly... I liked the first version better, but I guess people at Universal JUST DON'T CARE..... I though Sam's smile's was more like a michevious smile than anything... and Al was just all right.

If only we could actually kick the person-in-charge's butt!!! I would gladly do it... or maybe slap him to make sure he understand to STOP messing with out QL!!!

The hair style of Al and what Sam's wearing looks like it's a photo that originally was from the season 1 pilot... that's Sam in a flight jacket!
