Deaf Awareness

Yesterday, as part of work, I attended a Deaf Awareness Programme. To break the ice, and to have a laugh, the instructor asked us if we could sign what our favourite TV show is.

I was the only one to know :hurray:. Anybody remember why? ;)

Two words

Private Dancer!

Well done ziggysego!

Awesome!!

*laugh* I remember asking my Sign Language professor about the signs a while ago. She was rather confused at first and, as I fumbled to try to explain the show in signs, she explained that it more literally meant "Magical Traveller" or "Transitional Traveller". Interesting little tidbit, that ;)

Funny, he didn't say anything to me about it not being literal. He knew straight away. I guess he must have been a fan of the show and knew what I meant. Didn't want to deflat me for having ago. :sup

Ah well, I'm still chuffed to bits. lol
