"The Person Below Me"(TPBM)

Re: The Rod Says

Since I don't even know what that means, I have to say "False." :lol

TPBM has already voted.

Re: The Rod Says

False, but it will soon be true as that is what I am doing right after I sign off

And Rod, as soon as I get home, I am going to have a few Rod Beers and play a lot more San Andreas

Jennie, GTA = Grant Theft Auto (or if you're from Ontario, Greater Toronto Area :lol ). We realised that my one roommate has a PS2, so we hooked it up and have played a bit of "GTA: Vice City". I plan to play some tonight. :b

Tom, you didn't answer Jennie's question, but my answer to hers is true, since I voted back in June for the Canadian federal election. ;) I just got back from lunch and I saw that Dubya was winning, so it looks like I was right when I said it back in February that Bush would be re-elected.

TPBM... (thinks for a few minutes)... is currently playing in some kind of online PBeM RPG (or would like to join one... shameless plug!!).

Re: re

True, I saw it on Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC on Friday night and it was sweet! I can't wait for it to come out next year!

OK TPBM can draw a well known comic strip character such as Snoopy or Garfield with out looking at a picture or tracing.

Emily :)

Re: re

Well, I'll have to answer absolutely false to that... I'm really a crappy drawer... no talent.

TPBM cannot wait the many months before Star Wars ep. 3 goes out in theaters.

As for me, this is absolutely TRUE!!! Even though I haven't even seen the trailer yet, lol

MTFBWY,

Clara

Re: re

Oh, it's very, VERY true for me! I have been first in line for the 12:01am showing at my local theater for both prequels, and I plan to maintain my record with this one!

TPBM is looking forward to seeing the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

Joy

CatCF

True. Ever since you showed us those promotional photos for the film, I do want to see it! I've always enjoyed Tim Burton's work, and it'll be interesting to see Depp do another Burton film.

TPBM hasn't done a TPBM yet. ;)

Re: RE: TPBM

True, but I'm not listening to it just yet. I'll tune in to it once Thanksgiving is over. And wow, only six weeks before Christmas? I hadn't thought of it in terms of weeks!

TPBM is just as shocked about Christmas being so soon as TPAM. :)

Re: re

Oh so true ... and it's making me oh so hungry just thinking about it.

TPBM is an official MB. ;)

RE: TPBM

True; I've written one Guestvision.

TPBM finds it hard to believe that Christmas is a mere 6 weeks away. (Where has this year gone?!)

Re: RE: TPBM

False, I'm glad that I can spend one Christmas away from all of the horrible commercialism, advertisements, and all of the other crap that starts as soon as Hallowe'en is over. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Ebenezer, but the only part of Christmas I enjoy is the gathering with family and friends. Christmas should start in December at the very earliest, IMO!

Anyway, now that my rant is over ;) , TPBM has started to frequent the chat room outside of the official Al's Place chats.

... Mike. ^_^

Re: RE: TPBM

Yes, it is true, I have gone into the chat room outside the Official Al's Place chats and I have enjoyed chatting with all the others I have been getting to know who have been doing the same thing I have, lol. ;)

Lets see, TPBM wants it to snow where they live because they love snow and it is getting to be that time of year!

Emily. :)

Re: RE: TPBM

Absolutely true!! I love snow... apparently they don't get it here in Korea until January and February, though. :( They already have it back home!

Well, hmm... I shouldn't have been so hasty... need to think up something. ;)

All right, TPBM knows what soju is!

... Mike. ^_^

Soju

True,
Because you told me earlier! lol
Soju is a korean alcohol, 20% proof or something close, and you now know better than to over-indulge Mikey-san!

TPBM has helped out at more school discos than me. (I believe it is 91 for me atm, 92 after Friday! I've been serving drinks and snacks at the same school 5 times a year for over 18 years, and have only missed 2 in all that time) I'll be very surprised if there is anyone who can beat that record.... MJ????

Re: Soju

False. I think I'm about equal....but I'm hoping to go back sometime in the next four years. :)

TPBM has a very full schedule through Christmas. :nut

re

:bat

True, being on call most weekends (the price to pay for not being married with children) and visiting relatives other weekends, The Rod barely has time to clean The RodMobile!!

TPBTR is a keen fan of all the Law & Order shows & saddened by Det. Lenny Briscoes retirement...(The Rod is...roll on jan/feb & L&O: Trial By Jury)

Snow!

False, I've only played two or three games on the PS2... I've been getting addicted to the old SNES games recently (playing them on emulator), but it's been taking away from my writing time. :( :poke

TPBM is excited because they have snow where they live. It's snowing here in Seoul right now, and I'm about ready to burst I'm so happy. :lol

Re: Snow!

True! We had our first snowstorm of the season here in Kansas City yesterday. All the meteorologists were predicting a trace to 2"... except the one on the station I watch, who predicted 4-6"... We ended up getting *seven* inches! Woohoo! So, even though the snow is already melted more than halfway, we had a white Thanksgiving. Now we just have to cross our fingers for a white Christmas!

TPBM actually liked the 1999 Will Smith film version of "Wild Wild West." (I myself liked it so much, it got me to check out the old series... and I fell for that, too)

Joy

Blech!

False, although the forecast calls for it on Sunday, and I can't say I'm excited about it, lived in Iowa or Nebraska all my life and I'm about sick of the winters, toooooo cold!!!

Not sure if I'm doing this right, but here goes:

TPBM has all their Christmas shopping done already.

Re: Blech!

True! And a great movie it was... Of course, I never expect less from PIXAR (although Cars looks like it might not be as good as other PIXAR movies).

(the below is the same one I posted last time, since Sandra and I responded to the snow TPBM around the same time)

Re

False...I have never seen it

TPBM has seen the 1999 movie Free Enterprise with WIlliam Shatner ...(Very funny movie, if you like references to Star Wars and Star Trek, and other cult sci-fi movies used in everydat conversation...)
