The next live group chat will be held on Sunday, August 17th at 3pm EST. It will last until 7pm EST.

The chat will be held here in the Al's Place Messageboard Chat Room! This chat room can hold up to 25 users at one time and seems to be fairly stable. Using the chatroom here will enable all of our members to chat without having to download special programs, etc. :hurray

Note: When the chat is going on, it is best to maximixe the chat window in order to be able to see all that is being said clearly.

The chat transcripts can be found in Al's Place control room! It is a lot of fun and I sure hope you can all make it back for this one! :cheers

To see what time that is for your neck of the woods, go to this address and look for a link that says "Calculate Future Event": www.worldtimeserver.com/?...onid=US-NC The time here at Al's Place is from North Carolina, eastern standard time.

Example, for Joy the time would be 2pm, but for Sue the time would be 8pm.

I hope I can make it for a little while at least. I haven't really been around too much lately for personal reasons (some people already know why), but if I'm not busy, I'll try to stop by. :)
 
I should be able to make it... just someone poke me on ICQ if I'm absent at any point. :lol

I will do my best to get onto the on the 17th, but unfortunately I might be out that weekend. I'll either be celebrating or drowning my sorrows. I'll say nothing now as I don't want to jinx myself, but if anyone's interesting I'll let you all know how I get on if you remind me on Thursday evening. nit pick

i hate to nit pick, but i want ot make sure i'm clear...

the chat starrts at 3pm Eastern STANDARD time NOT Eastern DAYLIGHT time? i know some regions fot he country don't use daylight savings time. For example parts of Indian do not so for part of the year they are on the same time as Michigan and others they are one hour behind.

Yeah, it was a great chat, even though I didn't get to participate from the beginning... sorry I missed quite a few of you, but I'll read the transcipt to see the insanity that I missed. <LOL>

As for a date in September, Brian... hmm... whatever works for you!! I'll most likely be free on Sunday evenings since my Mondays don't start until about 11:30. :D :lol
