Well, just got an e-mail from one of the QL groups. Someone found and linked to Sci-Fi Weekly's newest issue... It lists all the upcoming Sci-Fi/Fantasy series in the works, including Sci-Fi Channel's. Some of the series have dates, others don't.

Of all of Sci-Fi's, only four don't have a "to be determined", which makes me wonder if either most are still in production, or their productions are being hindered by the change of higher-ups with the deal with NBC.

"Quantum Leap" is listed in the series section and not the movie section, so I'm guessing they're still planning to make the two-hour movie the pilot for the series.

Good to see that Quantum Leap is still in the pipeline for a revival. But as tina_als_girl has stated, things are a little up in the air as to who owns the rights to Quantum Leap because Scifi is in a bit of a transition period. Also I hear that Bonnie Hammer's job is on the line and it was her idea to revive Quantum Leap. If she goes, I fear any hopes of a Quantum Leap revival might go with her.

Ms Hammer's job SHOULD be on the line. She's totally alienated the scifi fans!! And she's in charge of THE SCI FI CHANNEL!! That's GOT to be the biggest oxymoron in the world!

The scifi channel has gotten a lot of bad press lately, and with the fans of the old Battlestar Galactica creating such a ruckus, it's a sure bet the BSG movie will be a flop. There might be a lot fo people watching it, but I doubt the series will be very popular.

And I certainly hope that anybody that DOES get her position at least listens to the fans out there... no matter the outcome of what I personally want. If the majority says they don't want Q.L revived, then we haven't done our job right!! Because I'm constantly hearing a lot of people say they'd LOVE to have QL back on the air! The movie was many people's hopes!!
