technically i may be the longest as i got to catch a train to cardiff..then a train to newcastle for the flight to newyork...then change to la...soo i hafta go back on my self 4 hours.....plus as time goes la is summit like 8 hours behind...so i'd be arriving 8 hours before i left

Hey, that's true! I'm in the States, and I still have to go back in time 3 hours to go to the Con!

Actually, I wanted to say that I'm really impressed at the number of people who are willing to cross an ocean to come to this event.

For Scotty Hotty I would cross an ocean if I had to. But I don't I just have to get on a plane for an hour and a half. :angel

Oh thats so funny!!! :lol I so wish i was coming to. Beleive me I would be willing to cross and ocean for this event, however I didn't win lotto this year and with a young family, it just ain't ever going to happen!!!
 
I should be leaving home on or about Sunday, March 24, and arriving on or about Thursday, March 28. So that's four days, two time zones, [calculates in head, carries the 1]...

I'll be traveling for four 24.5-hour days.

One of the things we thought about doing was putting a big map at Registration, so people could put pushpins or flags or whatever on their place of origin -- we thought it would be extremely cool to have that big visual representation of where everyone is Leaping in from!

We were able to get the top tickets so we have to go otherwise it is a waste of money! We are looking forward to going to the USA. My girlfriend hasnt been but i have and i love it there, and a convention in L.A is a great reason to go!

We cant wait!
