![]() Just a heads-up for those interested in Dean Stockwell's childhood film work. Turner Classic Movies is having a Dean Stockwell movie marathon all day tomorrow, March 5, starting at 7 a.m. EST. On his birthday, naturally!
7 a.m. The Green Years 9:15 The Mighty McGurk 10:45 The Arnelo Affair 12:30 p.m. The Romance of Rosy Ridge 2:30 The Boy with Green Hair 4 p.m. The Secret Garden 5:45 Kim Some of these are rarely shown, so it's a great opportunity for those who collect his work. I highly recommend "The Boy with Green Hair," his first starring role at the ripe old age of 10. "The Secret Garden" and "Kim" are also among his classic roles. Enjoy!

![]() Thank goodness for TCM! Thanks to them I recently saw for the first time two fabulous Dean-boy films, The Romance of Rosy Ridge and Stars in My Crown, both of which took place in some of the most fascinating times in American history, the south directly following the Civil War. (I did not see these in 2008...I don't think we got TCM until 2010!)
