Sam is in shock to find himself in the Waiting Room, in his much younger body. He has to figure out why he's there soon, to decide his actions. The past Sam is about to leap for the first time. Is the future Sam there to stop it?

There were a lot of different dilemmas here, but there wasn't much focus on what Sam was actually there to do, I'm afraid. This was an interesting experiment for Sam to leap back into himself in Project Quantum Leap, and I hope that the second episode resolves the issues at hand.
