True. I've written one article for GuestVision.

TPBM played a computer game "way back when" with a little orange train that made a track around the screen and you had to keep it from crashing into its own track.

True, absolutely true...

I have dreamt of being Spider-Man quite a few times, and if I remember, I even dreamt being a Power Ranger when I was a kid...

TPBM has met a few players of their home sport team (like Hockey for Montreal, or baseball, or football also) more than once.

I live in a different state than the teams I root for...but if meeting players from my fave team a couple of times applies, well then yes it's true...

For anyone who knows baseball, I met and actually chatted with (and had picture taken with) Mike Lowell and Derrek Lee...although his english isn't good, I also got to meet Miguel cabrera (and non-team players, I met Mike Schmidt, Tony Perez, and Harmon Killebrew...and once I literally ran into Ozzie Smith in a narrow store doorway in Cooperstown)

TPBM once actually hung out with a famous celebrity (I had lunch once with Davy Jones)

I had tea with Elizabeth Gracen (former Miss America and "Amanda" on Highlander) at a convention one time. I actually was lucky enough to be seated at her table, though she later made the rounds. We shared dog stories.

TPBM has been on TV.

True.

My 30 *seconds* of, and I use this term very, very loosely , 'fame' came when I appeared with my boss in a commercial he had made to advertise his services (he's a lawyer). The ad only ran a handful of times, on WHNO TV-20 - New Orleans, a local Christian station, about 10-12 years ago.

TPBM has been a member of Al's Place since the beginning.

True! I remember when Al's Place was in its first version, way back when Seth Argabright's Darpa PQL site was up (I think it's back now). I first discovered Al's Place by following the links from Seth's site to the novel reviews on Al's Place....

Later, I gave Brian my Leaping Links page, and the rest, they say, is history!

TPBM has seen the 1993 movie "Rigoletto" (*not* associated with the opera), starring Joseph Paur; made by Feature Films for Families.

Not entirely true...

I attended the premiere of Pocahontas in NYC when they took over the Great Lawn in Central park. It was a big event, though I don't think it was the world premiere.

TPBM has attended a Con (any kind) in costume

Default Con!

False, I've never even attended a convention... although if there was a QL one that I could go to (i.e. can afford to travel there [not in England ]), I would certainly go!!

And on that note... TPBM has been to a QL convention.

... Mike. ^_^

True. LeapCon '96, which sadly, had no Dean in attendance.

TPBM has made themselves an article of clothing based from a movie or show (say, like a Harry Potter scarf )

True, The Rod once made Himself a Spiderman mask and wore it to school for a week...

He likes masks!

TPBTR has performed a feat of extreme daring.

(The Rod has, 2 years ago, He rescued a puppy from a real busy stretch of freeway, He 'fractured' a couple of motoring laws and was almost squashed by some semi's but it ended well, The RodPup now lives with The Great One...)

Well, I didn't exactly *make* it, but for the release of the Return of the Jedi Special Edition in theatres, I put together an outfit using a green skirt to simulate the poncho worn by Princess Leia on Endor. So I don't know if that's a definite true or false...

Oh! But, I just remembered that I made a QL T-shirt for '80s day my sophomore year of high school.

So... True.

TPBM owns at least one Beatles CD/album.

Default Kind of, but not really?

While my dad owns a couple of their CDs, and I have listened to them, I myself do not own one.

TPBM...is getting ready (or getting kids ready) to go back to school
( I just started today as a paraprofessional...first job out of college!) (although my degree is as a history teacher there are no jobs right now )

Not exactly getting ready any more, but my first day of college was yesterday. So, for me at least, it's true that I'm still "getting ready", 'cause I'm still getting used to the new environment.

TPBM is a Sassie. ;-)

True. I *loved* "Mort" and "Equal Rites". Knowing Discworld also earned me a few brownie points in my college chemistry class! *laugh*

TPBM has read Jasper Fforde.
