Re: ...
Typical, yesterday I wasn't able to get onto the Internet and we learn more news about Quantum Leap! The day the news broke that Quantum Leap was being revived, I wasn't on the Internet that day either! I'm thinking I should take wee "sabbaticals" more often as a wise man once said!
This news on IMDB.com is great. I am a long time user of this website and it is my first point of reference to check on Quantum Leap revival news. As Joy has stated earlier, IMDB.com is continuing updated by users of the site and relies on it's users for the information, they do have a team of researches who validate all information that is posted on the site. This data is vertified before it reaches the website.
Also, no user can add new programmes or films to the site. That is done by the website monitors / designers.

Twenty years after the original series left Dr. Sam Beckett "leaping" into the great unknown, Sam is finally reunited with Al, his old mentor and "partner in time." But when circumstances beyond their control send Sam away once more, Al must recruit his lost friend's daughter to pick up where her father left off and hopefully help find Sam again in the process.

After reading the previous plotline, I am quite certain of the following details.
1. Scott Bakula will be in the new Quantum Leap, but only as a camero / guest star. It will show him returning home. Prehaps a little interact at home before he gets lost in time. After that Scott Bakula will step out of the Quantum Leap franchise. Who knows, he might return at a later date if the long await sixth season gets the go ahead.
2. Dean Stockwell will return to Quantum Leap as a Al Calavicci. I feel that he will be remain in the telefilm as the hologram to the new leapee and also in the sixth season if the telefilm is successful.
3. Most importantly, the new leapee. After a year of speculation, the new female leapee will be Sammi-Jo Fuller, Sam Beckett's daughter, as many people hoped and wished for. No word yet as to who will play Sammi-Jo. Prehaps it could be Melora Hardin, who played Abgail Fuller in Trilogy II and III.
I tell you, after reading all this I am beginning to get excited about the new Quantum Leap. This could be as good as the old series. At least we know, it will be relevant to the Sam Beckett story!
