                      The Return Of The Key To Time 
                      -----------------------------

        Ace yawned, and stretched her arms, and felt around for her baseball
bat, she thought back to when she eventually managed to get the doctor to
stop off somewhere so she could get a replacement, since after what the 
doctor had done to it, she couldn't get a replacement tape deck though, as 
she ended up having to chose between that and the Nitro-9 and it didn't
take her long to decide which one to chose.  She sat up, and looked at the 
wall, seeing her posters, she saw a man dressed in total white appear through
the wall, she blinked her eyes, and she then saw it go straight through the 
room and out through the door at the other side, she yelled out for the
doctor, who almost came promptly to her.
        "What Ace?"asked the doctor
        "I saw, an old man, wearing completly white, and he...."Ace broke off
again as she had seen him again, she got her baseball bat, and began to swing
it wildly at the old man.
        "Ace, no!"said the doctor
        "It's okay, doctor, she doesn't know who I am, maybe you should 
introduce me to her,"
        "Ace, this is the White Guardian,"
        "Who?"
        "Ermm, I'll tell you, later, he is probably here on a matter of great
importance."
        "Yes, I am Doctor, in fact it again concerns the Key To Time,"
        "Oh, I was wondering about that, I expect the Black Guardian is 
involved again,"
        "Who?"asked Ace
        "Yes, but it's going to be even harder this time, I've intercepted
a Doctor Samuel Beckett, and after I mentioned your name, he seemed to know
what was happening, I gather, you're acquainted with him?"
        "Yes, I bumped into him, once or twice, nice chap actually,"
        "Who's this Beckett guy?"asked Ace
        The doctor ignored her again and carried on talking with the White
Guardian, 
        "Meet Samuel Beckett at these co-ordinates, and he will explain 
what you will have to do."
        The White Guardian disappeared and the doctor ran into the control
room to set the co-ordinates, Ace got changed into some more casual clothes
including her bomber jacket with all the badges, then went after him, still 
holding her baseball bat.
        "Where are we going, Doctor?"
        "Earth."was the reply.
        "Now, will you tell me, who this White Guardian, Black Guardian and
Samuel Beckett is?"
        "Well, first, the White Guardian, is the good in things, he monitors
everybody and things, and tries to stop the Black Guardian from taking over
the universe, or destroying it in some way.  The Black Guardian, is the 
opposite of the White Guardian, he is the bad in things.  And finally this
Samuel Beckett guy, is also a time traveller, he leaps into people trying to
put things right what once went wrong, once he leapt into me, and I almost
died because of it,"the doctor ran the ending off a bit quickly.
        The TARDIS materlised on Earth near a school, the panel showed it to
be December 1963.
        Ace stepped out first, and she recognised the school straight away,
then the doctor followed and walked straight past her, and into the playground 
        "Doctor, isn't this the school, that we fought the Daleks in?"
        "Yes, Ace, now follow me, we haven't much time, we must find Samuel
Beckett,"
        They walked into the school, which was completly desolte, and walked
down a corrider and into a room.
        A middle-aged man was standing behind a desk, holding something that
the doctor recognised to be the tracer.
        "Doctor Beckett, how good it is, to see you again,"
