Job Description: Leaper (liberated from Evil Project) First Appearance: Episode 506, “Deliver Us From Evil” Full name: Alia Novack (established in VS Episode 724, “Fallen Hero, Part I”) Current Status: Deceased (working with the Bartender; died in VS Episode 1101, “Present’s Convergence”)
If Sam Beckett was able to travel in time, it would stand to reason that sometime another person would do the same.
Alia told Sam that she was with a time travel experiment, and she too suffered from Swiss Cheese memory and had no control over where she went. The one thing she really wanted above all was to go home.
When they met again, Alia told Sam she had been tortured and that the experience was worse than death. She begged Sam not to let her go through that kind of pain again, and Sam suggested that if they were to hold teach other when they leaped, they might be able to go together. They did, right into Mallard Correctional Facility for women. In an attempt to keep Lothos from locking onto her brainwaves, Sam altered them by slightly hypnotizing her into believing she was the woman into whom she had leaped.
While Alia didn’t seem to be completely evil (why else would she want to be redeemed?) she did wonder why some people helped other people. Apparently such behavior was either not in her background or had been conditioned out by some means.
Lothos reported that Alia was lost and Ziggy reported to Al that she was free from Lothos' grasp. |

Job Description: Quasi-Living Hybrid Computer / Evil Incarnate First mentioned: Episode 506, “Deliver Us From Evil”; First Appearance: VS Episode 724, “Fallen Hero, Part I Current Status: Re-emerged in virus form; Merged with Alia’s psychotic son, Adam, in VS Episode 1131, “Give Me Death”
Dr. Nathaniel Lothoman was the next genius of our time. He built his own complex in the British Isle based on the theories of Dr. Samuel Beckett. Dr. Lothoman has changed his physical appearance. He is no longer the handsome man pictured here, but now, a quasi-living hybrid computer. Since his change, he has become the absolute, merciless dictator of his complex. He is under the opinion that: "If it's in my complex, I own it, and that includes all humans. My word is absolute. Cross me and you probably won't live to regret it."
So far, he has only uttered one of his goals. "The only one goal that I would consider revealing to humans is my unswerving determination to rid the Earth of Dr. Samuel Beckett, Admiral Albert Calavicci and, their annoying hybrid computer. All three of which have meddled in time correcting that which I had altered for my own ultimate purposes. I will ultimately succeed in this endeavor."
Having loved Dr. Zoë Malvison before he became the power-hungry computer, he became the proud father of two daughters. Although Lothos loves his daughters, and thereby decided not to give them implants, they are subject to the same rules and consequences in the complex. He specifically separated them wanting them to grow up to be individuals and not to know of the other. |

Job Description: Chief Programming Technician / Evil Leaper First Appearance: Episode 516, “Revenge of the Evil Leaper” Current Status: Deceased (died in VS Episode 725, “Fallen Hero, Part II”)
His name is pronounced "Tems" like the river in Great Britain. Several times he has been an observer when Zoe leaped to find Alia. He enjoyed every minute of his stint as a hologram.
He is a fan of James Brown and leeches after women. This forty-three year old man is very vain and thinks of himself as every woman's want and desire. He's very intelligent but he is sly enough that Lothos uses him to sneak around the complex to spy on others.
He is also very flamboyant in everything that he does, and will kill anyone anywhere without blinking an eye. |

Job Description: Alia's Observer / Evil Leaper
First
Appearance:
Episode 506, “Deliver Us From Evil”
Full
name:
Dr. Zoë Malvison (established in Quantum
Retribution)
Current Status: Deceased (died in VS Episode 725, “Fallen Hero, Part II”)
In some ways, she was just like Admiral Albert Calavicci -- a clotheshorse who loves to lech after the opposite sex - namely Dr. Lothoman before he became a living hybrid computer. The similarity ended there, for Zoë is evil.
Zoë has been working with Lothos for years. She once told Alia, "We crawled our way out of hell to land simple assignments like home wrecking and adultery. You don’t want to live through the horror we live through before." Zoë taught Alia "Every nuance, every twist, every lie," to being a leaper.
Zoë has two daughters. She spat out during her delivery that she didn't want the children, and the doctors took her word seriously. She has no idea who her children are.
Zoë was recently shot in the back thus causing her to be confined to a wheelchair and having an oxygen mask around her twenty-four-seven. She is still a very difficult woman to deal with and is thoroughly enraged at Albert Calavicci for his meddling. |

Job Description: Psychotic Evil Leaper / Child of Time
First appearance: VS Episode 1031, "Lifetime: Future's End"
Date of Birth: 1980 (estimated)
When Sam first encountered him in the future, Adam was in his mid fifties. His true identity remained a mystery, but his intentions seemed benevolent—at first. Adam showed his true colors when Isabella Fulton and Ziggy attempted to give the retrieval chip to Sam so that he could plant it into SID’s mainframe in the past. Proving himself to be a brilliant albeit insane man, Adam wielded a special weapon of his own invention and attempted to kill Isabella. In retaliation, Ziggy’s holographic matrix took on a solid form and killed Adam.
But although this is where Adam’s story ended, Sam had yet to discover where it began. After Alia had been freed from Lothos’ evil reign, she had a son that she gave up for adoption. Years later, that son grew up and stumbled upon copies of Dr. Braden’s memoirs. After studying those documents inside and out, he discovered the secrets of time-travel and used his expertise to design various weapons and devices that could manipulate the flow of time. This man ironically was Adam. When Sam was a Detainee at Lothos’ project, he was shocked upon seeing a much younger version of Adam come to his rescue in the Holding Chamber. As the two men touched, a magnetic convergence field revealed that Adam was in fact Al. Apparently Lothos had recruited Adam shortly after Alia was freed, and sent him into Al’s aura to infiltrate Project Quantum Leap. Lothos however was not aware of Adam’s hidden agenda. Using a jamming device, Adam scrambled Lothos’ program and used the chip to send Zoë back to the evil project. He shot and killed Alia who had been retrieved along with Sam. Discovering the truth about his real mother, Adam then escaped with the retrieval chip. His current whereabouts in time are unknown. |

Tala was born January 1, 1979, the first of twin daughters.

She received her primary and high school education within the complex, and was tutored by the highest minds in the country as per Lothos' orders. She is brilliant when it comes to solving problems with mathematics and working with the computer as a tool to help her, she can solve almost any problem that comes to her.
