From Preview magazine:
Quantum Leap remains one of the
nineties’ most popular television shows. The series
chronicled the sometimes dramatic, sometimes
lighthearted adventures of physicist Sam Beckett who,
as a victim of an experiment gone awry, travels through
time and leaps into the lives of people in need of his
help. He is aided by Al, a former astronaut who appears
to Sam as a hologram. The show enjoys a cult following
and even has an annual Quantum Leap Convention
drawing thousands of fans.
Part One:
In this first issue of a three-issue
limited series, Sam Beckett leaps into Peter Drake, a
technician on the Quantum Leap project – before Sam
Beckett leaps! Living Peter’s life, Sam must contend
with the problems created by an unknown saboteur on
the project as well as conflicts with Peter’s fiancée, also
a Project technician. Meanwhile Sam comes face to face
with friends and family he hasn’t seen since that fateful
leap. According to Al, Sam’s only purpose is to stop a
saboteur who, if successful, will keep Sam with the
people he loves – and may never see again – while
shredding the fabric of time! Written by fan-favourite
