22nd February 03: Leap 2003 Cancelled - from the Leap 2003 website: Due to lack of member registrations, we have been forced to cancel Leap 2003. Those of you that registered for the convention will be receiving a full refund within the next month.
10th February 03: Site updates - News updated and moved to top of page and links updated.
10th February 03: QL movie update. It is believed that Donald Bellisario is now involved in initial work on the QL movie, still no news as to whether Scott or Dean will be involved.
22nd
January 03: More QL - (non-)update. no more definite information on the DVD releases by Universal yet, but it's said to be still possible - here's hoping that they do get released eventually.
The Pilot episode (Genesis) is available on DVD.
(US/Region 1) There are no extras on the disc, but interestingly
the leap out at the end is into Star-Crossed, instead of Colour
of Truth which was shown on video (as it was the next available

Entertainment website for more details on the DVD. Maybe
they'll release more episodes if the first one does well, so get
ready to go out and buy it! No news if it's coming out for Region
2 (Europe) yet, so you can only watch it on US or multi-region
DVD players.

Dr. Sam Beckett was conducting a time travel experiment, forced to step into the accelerator chamber before it was ready or he'd lose funding. He was engulfed in bright blue light and "leaped" into another persons body in another time and place. He couldn't remember who he was and was shocked to see another face in the mirror. He's stuck leaping from life to life putting things right that once went wrong.
Quantum Leap is shown on UK Gold Saturday and Sunday at 10am. (updated 22/01/03)
