Summary: The best tv series ever
In the year 1995 in New-Mexico a top secret project called
Quantum Leap was invented and constructed by a brilliant
quantum physicist Dr. Sam Beckett. He managed to build
a
time machine that enables a person to leap into different
times
within his own lifetime. While testing this machine Sam
prematurely steps into the project's accelerator and leaps
into
another time.
The moment he leaps in, someone else was leaping out to
the
year 1995. Looking in mirror he sees the person he replaced
other than himself. In his first leap Sam does not remember
who he is at all. He leaps into a test pilot in 1956. Sam
then
discovers Al who worked with him on the project and now
appears to him only as a hologram that only he can see
and
hear. They both realize that Sam has to right something
that
went wrong, in order to leap to another time hopefully his
own
time.
"Quantum Leap", created by Donald P. Bellisario, has given
the
idea of time travel in science fiction dramas an original
and
different approach.
The combination of science fiction and drama, excellent
script
and the outstanding performance of Scott Bakula and Dean
Stockwell made "Quantum Leap" unique among other TV or
film productions.
"Quantum Leap" is very much popular all over the world,
mainly because of its optimistic nature and unique combination
of drama and music.
I believe that "Quantum Leap" can make an extraordinary
motion picture since it appeals to a great many people.
