Are witches and warlocks real or not? Too much weird stuff happens for skeptical Sam and superstitious Al to write off this experience. And at the heart of it all is true love, a path not chosen, and a spooky game of Dungeons and Dragons.

Spoiler review

This was cute. A few inconsistencies, but I don't care so much about those. The kitten was adorable. I had a kitten just like that, only he was a light orange and white striped tabby. Named him Dragon. Sat on my shoulder and mewed in reponse to my questions. Had golden eyes, that cat. Loved that cat.

D&D huh? I thought Al hated that game. But it was amusing, nonetheless, to see Al struggling with the olde tyme language. heh. Reese is pretty hardcore, though, I have to say. All my years of playing the game, and I don't think I've ever met someone who was quite so "into" it. LARPing, though... that's a whole different story. Those people are weirdos. Tried it twice. Once was really enough.

On the term "Warlock": it should be noted that this term is actually derived to mean "Oathbreaker", not necessarily a male witch. Though in the Judeo-Christian faiths, that was the word used to describe the male equivalent of a witch. In reality, though, male witches are just witches.

Aw, but it ends very well. Alex and Reese live happily ever after. Busy bunnies too. And they set up their own happy haven (coven?). Adorable.

This was a decent episode, albeit a bit creepy at parts. Although, the ending was fulfilling. This reminded a bit of the Boogiem*n episode, with Al and superstition. This would be a good episode to read on Halloween. :)
