I currently have a lot of actors contacting me wanting to be on the show, talking to me like I'm some established producer.
("I'd like to be on your new project" - like I got an old one)

I think it was made clear, but I may have to point out beyond all doubt that I'm just a student, and that there's only going to be pay if I get funding and I have no clue if I will, but it's pretty brilliant. Scary though!! It's all becoming so real.. and I'm still writing the script.. Ahhhhh!

yeah, I guess a lot of people would be interested. But the thing is i just can't promise anyone that this will ever be aired.

I'll put it on the internet in any case though!

Anyway.

I got to finalize my script and could use critical test readers!

I like hearing if you enjoyed the script, but I need to know everthing that's WRONG with it!

HELLO!

Just a quick update, the first shoot will happen mid April,
Holding more auditions this week. Got my head crew, they're an awesome
bunch, most of them are friends of mine.

Hoping to hold a fighting workshop end of April. Funnily enough my head crew contains a riding teacher, an experienced archer and me as an (ex) martial art instructor, I got a fencing teacher and school lined up, getting in touch with the Aikido club, arranging horses. And so on and so on.

If anyone happens to be in Australia btw, the play I'm directing is on 8th-18th of April in the cozy town of Wagga Wagga.

just leaping in for a bit.

Shot about 20 % of it. Regrettably, I'm short on crew which means I have to make a fair bit of compromises, but all in all it's slowly coming together.
Got animators lined up as well, together with our own feldon.

Not CGI heavy, but it will benefit from improvements.

75% after this sunday, marathon shoot of creating 10 minutes of show in 7 hours!!
(which is pretty insane)

because we only got the location for that time and on top of that it might rain, wish us luck

All leapers in melbourne.
If you want in, I need extras 8:30 at the montsalvat artist colony.
Just rock up, I'm paying for your entrance, tomorrow, sunday 18th july 2010.
Dress medieval-ish as in not obviously modern, bring a toga or somehing.
Going till 12:00 for extras.

Two months late, regrettably, but congratulations on the play being a success. And I hope that your series is coming along nicely. It certainly had promise, so it deserves a chance in the airwaves to let the public see it.

Filming's finished a few weeks back and I got 2 weeks to finish the edit!

Can be done , bit I'm desperate for some CGI help.
Will post another topic for it.
