     How many of you were angered by the ending of "In Your Eyes"?  (Show of
hands, please. =) )

     Not to worry, the story of Sam, Al, Neal, and Janet is far from over.

     I originally intended for things to work out just fine between Neal and
Janet at the end of "In Your Eyes," but then riding to school one day, it hit
me:  Life does not always have a happy ending (I can attest to that).  What if
Sam failed, and then had a chance to try again.  That simple question is what
spurred the decision to Leap into "Mirror Image."  After the events in MI, it's
become known that Sam has the ability to control his Leaping to a point.  What
better opportunity for him to try to put something right to _his_ standards,
much in the same way that he saved Al and Beth's marriage.

     My next story is entitled "A Decision Regretted, A Choice Not Taken." 
Hopefully this will be done soon.
