Anything will be considered--I will post more when I get back for good so for now enjoy and see you soon! "WATER WATER EVERYWHERE....." PART ONE 16th March 1987 It was the first time he could ever recall falling.Admittedly there'd been some terrifying moments in his lifetime--he remembered, with a shudder, an electric chair--but falling from a considerable height with no idea of what was coming up to meet him sent him into a spasm of fear. The worst part of all of it was there seemed to be no reason for this fall; he was fully clothed--even a pair of brown sandals on his feet. And it was dark too--apart from a faint glow somewhere to his left. The number of times he had leaped into strange situations had made every little detail become obvious to him in seconds. Yet seconds were all he had before he hit the cold water. He went under unprepared--after all, he was unable to cope with the concept of falling from a great height, let alone hitting water. He took in a lungful and noted, with a certain amazement, that it was salt water. So this information led him to the conclusion that he could be in the sea somewhere. As he came up from under the water, coughing and spluttering,Dr.Sam Beckett thought that it could not get any worse-after all,he was miles, years even, away from home, had no idea of who or where he was and currently in a situation where he was literally grasping in the dark.So he began to swim a little, taking it easy since he figured that there wasn't any rush and that any moment now his friend from the future,Al the hologram, would appear and fill in the gaps. Suddenly there it was;it caught his eye, gliding swiftly through the water from the left to right--a shark fin.Gasping for breath and trying desperately to find his feet,he swam as fast as he could, reflecting only on how foolish it was to believe that things couldn't get any worse. "Oh, boy,"he gasped in between strokes. To Be Continued........ Mail me at the alt.qlcreative or at cluac@csv.warwick.ac.uk Any comments welcome--positive or negative!! Keep leaping, Darren
