Also, I don't know if this belongs  in the archives, but I figure, credit
where it is due. And I think  it had problems going out too. 

"Window to the Future" 

  Hi, everyone!  This  is my first fanfic and so please don't be too hard
on me!! :) I am an Al fan, but there is plenty of Sam in here! More than I
had thought there would be, in fact, so  fear not Sam fans.
  Comments are appreciated and welcomed. Please do not reply to this
address, but write to me at tajuddin@fit.edu. Please keep in mind as you
write these comments that I do not consider myself a writer, and I have
done this entirely for fun.
  The story has a few references to episodes: "Killin' Time", "Moments To
Live" (it's just a small quote....I dislike the episode too...don't let
this discourage you!) There may be a few more that I'm forgetting.
  I also need to thank a few people:
Cathy Laughlin for the basic idea.
Julie Jekel for saying "yes, write!" (even though I know she just did it
  so that I would stop pestering her to finish _her_ stories)
Stephanie Stone for being my guinea pig for a few of the concepts, and
  still insisting I send her more.
Maria Sloughter for being my partner in obsession.
Kristin Mims for being my roots back home.
Jennifer Shipley for being my roommate and resident Sam fan.
Dawnmarie Lesaldo for taking one look at part one and saying "hey, you're
  writing's  improved!" No way to go but up, right, Dawn?

  Finally, please don't sue me! Copyright yadda yadda part here!! These
characters are not mine (no matter how much I might wish otherwise...I'd
love to take 'em home) and I'm just borrowing them for a bit. And a bit
longer. And....

  And without any more comments (like you actually read this part), I give
you "Window to the Future". I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have
enjoyed writing it.
