I hope you enjoy it as much as the first one. It's a very different kind of story, so let me know how it compares. OK, now that that's out of my way, on to my thanks and all....I owe a great debt to the following people: -Cathy Laughlin, as always, for her support and tolerance that I still haven't repaid her for my first story by giving her an idea. (I tend to keep them all for myself....) -Stephanie Stone for her constructive criticism that she still finds time to offer in her busy life. -Maria Sloughter, who always goes ahead and cheers on my obsessions. -Kristin Mims, who doesn't have a lot of time to read my stories, but does anyhow. -Jennifer Shipley, who, in spite of her insistance upon reading all of my stories out loud to me in terrible accents of her own creation, still insists that I am not "torturing" her when I ask her to read a new section I've written. -Dawnmarie Lesaldo, because I actually got a physical reaction out of her on this one. (that's a tremendous compliment, in case you're wondering) -Pat Chachich, who wrote me after each and every one of my other postings with her support. -And to all who sent me comments, good and bad, about my previous story. Your ideas have brought on a few re-writes, too. ;-) And here, of course, is the copywrite stuff. About how I owe the usage to these 2 wonderful characters to DPB and all that. This I have to write for the man who didn't even know there were QL novels for a while. And here, ladies and gentlemen, is "The Road Taken." Enjoy! -amkt
