"Blind Faith"

Cut Scenes: The fourth draft script, dated 29th August 1989, names the leapee Andrew MacKay and the police officer as Pete McBride. It moves the opening credits to immediately after Sam finds out an encore is expected. The act from Tijuana was called Evita Whitefingers and used a huge… something in her performance, which included a performance of Hello Dolly, rather than the national anthem. Al bought a guitar to impress women rather than a wig. The end of the first act occurs as soon as Sam learns Michele is going to be strangled. The dog food is called Frisky Fidos. The concert music is suggested to be Sonata Numero Doce by Mozart. Sam had the opportunity to go to Julliard for music but chose M.I.T. instead. Pete has something of a monologue he performs in front of Michele before attacking her the second time and makes an attempt to distract Chopin with peanuts while under attack. |
