Cut Scenes: In an early draft script (version unknown), John's drunken repeat of Al's line "you're giving a terrific performance" is missing. Sam's discussion with Nicole about his crush on his piano teacher plays out a little differently with Sam not implying that Nicole knew all along. John says at the rehearsal "bravo bravo" (instead of, as transmitted, the more accurate "bravo, brava"). The lead into the final performance is restructured a little, shifting Sam's "break a leg" to Manny further on, and not so shortly after he says the same to John. Sam also explains to Delores and Manny why he saved John despite their relationship ("I wanted to get out of here"). |
