Cut Scenes: In the 6th version of the script, dated 22nd January 1992, Sam's running "call me Ed" gag isn't present, seemingly working out later (perhaps by Bakula?). Ziggy is referred to as 'she' at one point (the wording was later revised to dance around the pronoun). Al realises quite quickly that Sam is joking about the UFO (in the broadcast version he doesn't seem to realise). Cooper refers to 'the gremlin on the wing' (this was later dubbed with 'the gremlin behind you', making Al's reaction funnier). Wendy and Cooper checking in on Michelle (when Grant gets annoyed that "Eddie said that a long time ago") is placed a little earlier in the scene, rather than breaking up Sam and Al's conversation as it does in the final version. |
