Cut Scenes: The fifth draft script (dated 20th April 1989, the second revision of that day, and unusually for a first season script, containing the correct episode title) opens with a montage of clips from many of the previous episodes, including Camikazi Kid, using a script that would mostly be used at the start of The Color of Truth instead) and adds a few extra pieces: We get clarification that the old lady at the start is annoyed at Nick for impersonating Bogart, which is why she hits him. Allison looks up after saying “I thought you’d never get here”, implying she’s pleased to see Lionel (in the episode as broadcast it’s a little more open to interpretation). There is no leap out, unusually for a first season script.
