"Temptation Eyes"

Cut Scenes:

In the first version of the script, dated 29th November 1991, Channel 12 News is named Action Eye News.

The non-speaking detective is called Cho.

The voiceover news report immediately after Tamlyn identifies Beche is by Powell (it's a female voice in the transmitted version).

Ross notices a change in Dylan's behavior earlier in the episode.

The montage sequence suggests that Sam is sharing his memories of Glitter Rock, 8 1/2 Months, The Right Hand of God, and The Wrong Stuff, with the additional voiceover "In my years of leaping, I've worn many masks and been many people, but for the first time, someone saw me for who I really was, and I could finally just be myself. And even though I usually spend a few short days wherever I leap, this time, I was here for two weeks. Somehow it seemed like I was meant to stay".

After the montage, there's a very specific interaction with Al where the hologram states "You can't be with her". Sam asks "Why not?" and the script informs us that "Al is torn whether to tell Sam about his wife, but he remembers the promise he made". He instead says "I can't say. And you're too Swiss-cheesed to remember".

There's a follow-up discussion about tracking down the killer before Sam heads straight to see Ross.

The sequence where he finds Tony Beche takes place as part of the climax (in the episode the tension is higher, as he apprehends Beche, then goes to see Ross and gets the call proving that the killer is still at large).

At the end, Sam promises never to forget Tamlyn - she responds "I bet you say that on all your leaps".

The second version, dated 3rd December 1991 changed the newspaper referred to near the start from 'the morning Chronicle' to 'the morning paper'.

The Beche confrontation happens earlier, snipping out the discussion about catching the killer, per the transmitted version.

There's some minor changes to the speech patterns of both Sam and Ross during their final showdown, and tweaks to Sam and Tamlyn's farewell, all more closely matching transmission.
