"Unchained"

Cut Scenes:

In the first script, dated November 5th 1991, and entitled Unchained Melody (with the
leap date set as October 13th 1956), Sam is more frustrated with Boone when they're on the run ("Shut up! They're almost here!").

Al jokes that Sam is "carrying the 'wet look a bit too far" and is very clear that the leapee is a criminal who is right to be behind bars.

There is more discussion about Boone's Indian heritage and his childhood toy friend Sawachee.

At the end of Act One Sam checks that he will be shot dead, which Al confirms.

When Cooley tosses a coin, it genuinely lands tails - while in the episode it lands heads and Cooley lies to get Boone back in the hole.

Ziggy is referred to as a 'he' twice (the pronoun is removed on the second occasion for transmission).

Sam hedges his bets a little more that the mastermind might be Elias or Cooley.

There is apparently a version of the script in which a jack is used to break Boone and Sam free, however both first draft and transmission use an axe against an anvil.
