    -Jack was born September 18th, 1950.

    -From 1969 to 1973, he was stationed at the United States Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca.

    -During the mid-1970's and early 80's, Major Weitzman was stationed at the White Sands Test Center in New Mexico. He helped build and design the new Patriot air defense missile. He also had a part in the HAWK missile systems.

    -He worked under Major General Thomas Collins at the White Sands base for five years beginning in 1977. They tested several methods of energy transfer with military applications on the old atomic bomb range there.

    -He also worked with space systems. On March 30, 1982, he assisted (from the ground) NASA astronauts in landing the Space Shuttle Columbia at the White Sands Space Harbor.

    -Following that event, Weitzman was assigned to oversee the top-secret government project called Starbright and promoted to Colonel. His office is 25 miles due north of the underground project at the Stallion Range Center, nicknamed by project personnel as "Stallion's Gate."
