-Born August 18th, 1960.
-Early on in elementary school, Julie was found to have a high aptitude for building
things that could fly. A model rocket she created for a science project rose an astounding
4800 feet (almost a mile high).
-Attended Air Force boot camp at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
-Trained at Edwards Air Force base from 1979 to 1981 and promoted to Second
Lieutenant even though she had not completed college.
-Transferred to the Space and Missile Systems Center at the Los Angeles Air Force base in
April of '81 and learned to produce space related weapons and mechanics as well as
aircraft.
-Hired by Ross Adams, she began work with the project in
December of 1983 as an engineer for an interstellar drive.
-Julie was guaranteed a free college education in exchange for her work on the Starbright
Project. She took classes for the first four years with the project until she graduated
with honors in May of 1988.
