Hello one and all! Welcome back to RodetteVision!

That's right, I'm back again and ready to go with the newest column for Al's Place: a place where one can go and get any form of quality entertainment.

Speaking of entertainment... let's get on topic:

QUANTUM LEAP

Q is for the quality shows they gave us fall, winter, spring...

U is for the uniqueness that only Sam and Al can bring...

A if for the allure of a show so clean and strong...

N is for the naturalism as Sam corrected each and every wrong...

T is for teamwork as they conquered obstacles with every leap...

U is for the unity of the writers - hopefully writing as we speak...

M is for the melodic words 'Oh boy' used to enthrall...

L is for the lessons taught through Sam's leaps, albeit them large or small...

E is for the emotional outbursts - mostly victorious as he won...

A is for appreciation we have for Don Bellasario for everything he's done; and

P is for the pedestal we have put all of them (Don, Dean and Scott) upon.

Yes, I know... you've seen this done over and over and over again... but I couldn't help myself. I was in a mood... and it was just one of dem things!

And since you found me in a poety mood... (ha!) ... let me send in a little poem that is one of my favorites... and it somewhat reminds me of Quantum Leap:

Find yourself an unclaimed island

If you're weary and depressed.

Get away if but a day

And take your needed rest.

Lay beside the peaceful water,

Open your troubled soul

Enjoy the beauty around you

Let it help make you whole.

Yes, you return to nature

And among the whispering trees

You too may whisper to a One

Who will listen to your pleas.

Then get on back...

Pitch in again...

You'll find a newfound zest...

Forget the bad

Look for the good...

and for the better... best.

Everyone has heartaches and everyone has pain

To some come more to others

But, this is life's refrain.

Self pities are the discords

When life's music seems pale

Just your helping others moves you up the scale.

Try this helping others

Fell how tall it makes you stand.

It will make for you a refuge

Which will be your promised land.
