A Quantum Soundtrack

To The Rod, a part of Quantum Leap’s appeal was its inclusion of music from the times.

Can QL survive without this? If the new leaper is to be younger, then it will need to.

Problem is, the music of today isn’t really all that good. OK you have some artists who will always produce good albums, but it will not be artists such as these who will be featured.

In The Rod’s opinion, a younger leaper will probably have grown up in the 90’s. So what music will the QL writers include? They want music that incorporates a feeling of " Oh Yeah, I remember that song".

The latter half of the 90’s produced serious obsessions with *Wrinkling face up with distaste Rap music. Also there were a lot of Boy Bands around, and lets NEVER forget Britney!!

Original Quantum Leap featured such great songs that it is almost going to be a shame to have the new Quantum Leap with a younger leaper.

Of course, the next instalment is going to be a movie, so that raises a question:

What sort of soundtrack will there be?

As it’s a movie, they probably are not going to be heavy on the "Songs of the times" routine. As The Rod is not a huge fan of the music of this time, perhaps they should steer not quite clear, but around some of the 90’s music.

Of course they DEFINITELY should include some AC/DC tracks, maybe a few Metallica songs as well, but that’s just The Rod’s thinking!!
