RodVision

Before you read on, this RodVision bears a resemblance to MJs last RodetteVision, this is completely coincidental and non intentional.

Those who DO have a problem with it, obviously do NOT know The Rod as you think you do…

;-)

Time for the fans to let go..

It is the fans that did, and continue to make a big deal out of all these great shows. Perhaps it is too much to want Scott to appear in QL.

Perhaps he no longer wishes to be a part of QL. Maybe it IS the fans that should move on. After all, Scott Bakula gave around 6 years of his life to this show. Maybe it is over, at least for him.

The Rod rarely thinks about His last job. He suspects the same is true for most of you cats and kittens out there who have had more than one job.

If He constantly reminded about His last job, and how good it was, The Rod would be flattered at first but then irritated if all these people talked on and on about His LAST job when He was trying to make a mark with His NEW one.

The Rod isn’t even sure if Scott wants to appear in QL anymore. With Star Trek he has gotten hold of the money train. Quantum Leap may have just been his apprenticeship. Who knows?

Maybe The Rod has now let go of Scott and his association with Quantum Leap. Perhaps that’s what everyone needs to do. Regardless of what the Leapers think, Scott Bakula has moved on from Quantum Leap, and onto bigger and brighter things.

With Star Trek, there is the obvious bonus that he may get to do feature films. Nemesis may have been the last TNG film, but there has been talk of an Enterprise feature.

If Scott were to go back to Quantum Leap. What could he hope for. A TV Feature followed by a TV series. After the way both he and Quantum Leap were treated by the TV polukas in charge before, could you blame him if he decided that enough was enough?

Now, if you, constant reader, are asking "Rod, do you WANT Scott to appear in this new QL?

The Rod simply doesn’t know. Perhaps by having a new leaper searching for Dr Beckett, and NOT having any cameos by Bakula the whole franchise could get a new lease of life.

To all the Die Hard fans out there, consider something:

Perhaps QL will be better off without Scott. He is too busy being a Star Fleet captain now, so maybe he wouldn’t be devoting all his acting prowess to a role within QL as a result.

Instead, lets consider a new leaper, perhaps a related storyline i.e. the search for Sam Beckett or some such story.

Perhaps it would cheapen Quantum Leap to have Scott appear, as it were convenient to filming Enterprise. Before, he gave it ALL his focus, now he is a busy man, and Enterprise has to be his main focus.

After all, its his JOB now.

He IS The Hot Rod BABY!!!

Rod Out!
