What If…

Swashbuckling seems to be back in fashion once more. Truly great films are born of Hollywood based upon this premise.

Kinda got The Rod thinking:

What if Sam were to leap into a swashbuckling type character. This then got The Rod thinking:

Sam should be a pirate!!!!

He would be able to carry off conversations with Al, saying instead he was conversing with his parrot. All the buxom young ladies wearing low cut dresses would certainly pose entertaining sequences between Al and Sam.

Inevitably, Sam would HAVE to walk the plank, which would be funny. Al would have a great laugh at that. Of course, what could Sam’s mission there be?

Perhaps it would be for him to invent the artificial prosthesis…at least an early version of it…The Hook!!

Mirror Image Thoughts

Whilst browsing the ever magnificent Al’s Place and attached message boards, The Rod came upon the "Topic of the month" board.

September (Which is over now Rod!!) asked the leapers of their thoughts of "Mirror Image". It was also suggested by the Almighty Bartender Dude, that perhaps Mirror Image represented a mental breakdown, for Dr Beckett.

The Rod thought about this, and has come up with a theory of His own:

What if quantum leap’s 5 seasons represented the decline in Sam Beckett’s mental health, Mirror Image representing his return to normality?

Perhaps DPB meant for the whole Quantum Leap to be perceived as one man’s mental decline.

Makes you think…Well, made The Rod think anyway!
