How can they now, have Sam back in Quantum Leap?

Perhaps this is why Scott hasn’t been contacted about appearing in the new Quantum Leap. After all, the writers wouldn’t want to look silly.

Perhaps Donald P. Bellisario has decided that it wouldn’t make sense to state the above, then to focus on the return of Dr Beckett!

Just something to think about.

The Rod had the pleasure of enjoying the movie "The Time Machine", the original one, as The Rod hasn’t seen the new one with Guy Pearce yet.

If you haven’t seen this film, go see it, NOW!!!!

It proves that a film doesn’t need swish special effects, complex scientific explanations or big name stars. Instead, what you get is a very enjoyable film. The Rod will admit, when He saw this was on, His original reflex was to change the channel, but, out of curiosity, changed it back. Glad He did!

Quantum Leap was almost the same formula, it did not have awesome special effects, nor did it need them. It did not have, for most of its life, big name stars appearing. Quantum Leap did have its fair share of scientific stuff though, but did not bewilder the viewer with this.

In the age of spiralling special effects costs (The Matrix, Matrix Reloaded) Quantum Leap will provide a great Sci-Fi story, with minimal Effects costs.

But, think for a moment, what if Industrial Light & Magic were commissioned with the special effects for the new Quantum Leap.
