Review by horrorcon: Oh boy! The Quantum Leap box set from Fabulous Films contains all 97 episodes on 22 discs and comes with all the original music previously missing from the original Quantum Leap dvd releases. This is the best this show has ever looked and sounded, it's definitely 100 times better than your old dvd box sets in that the DVDs look horrible on your big TV screens. There is some natural grain throughout the series but nothing to spoil your viewing, well the show is nearly 30 years old. The only downside is the picture is shown in the standard 4:3 aspect ratio. So you have those thick black lines on either side of your TV screen but that's how it was filmed back in the day. When you binge the series you don't even notice them there anymore. There's a nice weight to the box and the outer packaging is standard cardboard which includes all five seasons in 5 Blu-ray cases, season one comes with 2 discs and the second, third, fourth and fifth season have 5 discs. None of the discs have any subtitles and there's only a couple of special features on the first season. I am a really big fan of Quantum Leap and the show definitely holds a special place in my heart and now New & old fans can watch and rewatch this show over and over again. Next leap, will be the leap home to your Blu-ray collection!
