Archived Vintage Quantum Leap Websites
(1990's through 2000's)

There were some fun Quantum Leap sites that ran during the early days of the internet. Archived here are many of those sites. Only a handful remain online, but thanks to theWayBack Machine, we can leap back in time and visit them in their frozen states.
From Al's Place to Ziggy's Quantum Leaping Website, we have collected many of the most popular sites in one spot. Get ready to leap back to the turn of the 21st century as we travel to the beginnings of online Quantum Leap fandom!

ql-archive.org Al's Place
The Accelerator Chamber
Since 1991, ql-archive.org archived anything related to Quantum Leap including photos, newsgroup archives, sounds, programs, and a very large archive of fan fiction material! Thanks to Mark D. Baushke for allowing Al's Place to "archive the archive" before it closed. The site was refreshed in 2024 with .txt files to fix glitches from previous version. This is the full site hosted here on Al's Place.
The first incarnation of Al's Place in April 2000. I had no idea I would be the creator of the largest and one of the longest running Quantum Leap fan sites in the world 25 years later. Created by Tracy Finifter. This was a go-to site for information and links. One of the earlier sites, many leapers found this when first dialing up. Leap back to June 2009 and visit The Accelerator Chamber!

QL Information Kiosk
Stallion's Gate
Created by Dermot Devlin of Ireland. A fun and informative site which inspired me to want to create my own. One of the first to present information on the QL novels.
Check out this August 2004 iteration of a great vintage fan site.
The QLIK was produced and organized by the semi-mysterious Go-Captain Alvarez. This version is dated December 4, 1999 and will likely be the very last incarnation of this WWW page. This site is still online today!
Stallion's Gate was created by Seth Argabright. Its' original incarnation was lost in a server move, but the updated version below from April 2010 was a site early leapers enjoyed for several years.

Leaper's Haven
Project Quantum Leap at projectquantumleap.com produced The Observer newsletter publication from January 1991 to October 2010 and was the premiere fan club for Quantum Leap and QL's stars. An excellent resource before and many years after the internet went online. This capture of the site is from July 2004. It's still online today!
Sue Johnson ran this website under the screen name SueJBakula for many years. She put a lot of love into it with sounds, videos, utilities, and information. It was definitely one of my frequent stops on the early days of dial-up. Leap back to March 2005 with this incarnation of her fan site!
Trudy's Leaper's Haven was a nice gallery of Quantum Leap & Scott Bakula images. Enjoy this capture of her site from December 2002.

TV Stuff & More
The Sci-Fi Channel hosted a website and message board for a few years. It was the main location for leapers to meet and converse during the series syndication run on the channel. It eventually became overrun with internet trolls and inspired me to create a safer place for fans. Hundreds of leapers migrated to Al's Place Online Community when this site shut down shortly after this capture of it from February 2005.
The Sci-Fi Channel's Sciography series was extremely informative, yet short-lived. Luckily, they ran a series of clips about Quantum Leap before it was abandoned. Check out the video library here on Al's Place for the full program. The website is archived here from June 2002.
Martin Enterprises ran this site from 2002 through around 2012. Leapers could purchase all sorts of QL materials including VHS tapes, mugs, jewelry, keychains and more! This early capture of the site is from February 2002.

The Nitpickers Guide
Jo's Quantum Cafe
This site was neat for new leapers as it has a great summary of many of the characters and terms in the Quantum Leap universe. Jump back to September 2005 with this version of the site.
John Wiltshire created this site for nitpicking Quantum Leap episodes. It featured hologram errors as well as trivia and other information. Leap into May 2002 here!
Jo Fox is an avid fan of Quantum Leap and even ran her own convention in Orlando in 2001. On her unique website, organized by various food courses on the menu, she displayed plenty of photos and info from various encounters with Quantum Leap fans and the actors.

Jumping the Shark: QL
In this October 2003 capture of the fan site, Gary J. Marsh shared Quantum Leap news, a basic episode guide, and other related info with leapers.
The Internet Movie Database launched in 1990, and Quantum Leap was featured soon after. In this December 2000 capture of the Quantum Leap entry, you can see how it once looked in the early days.
jumpingtheshark.com was a good spot to rate shows on when they "jumped the shark" (had worn out their welcome). Quantum Leap was a featured entry with some interesting responses from across the fandom. December 2002.

Barry's Quantum Leap Page
Revival Initiative
Andy's Quantum Leap Website
October 2009 is your next destination on the WayBack Machine. Barry is from the U.K. and has a few links and general info on the show.
R. Joy Helvie ran this site for several years in hopes that Quantum Leap would be revived. Last updated in 2003, you can see where leapers were excited to learn that the Sci-Fi Channel was finally planning to revive the show. Sadly, it was cancelled before reaching the production stage.
Andy P. Jung created this website on jungworld.com with an episode guide, FAQL, several website links and even his own store. A fun sitewith it's final iteration in December 2005.

Stargazer
Crescendo Records
Fate's Wide Wheel
Becky loves Quantum Leap and Bon Jovi! Her page with last revision in March 2003 featured photos, articles, and links from both fandoms.
This is the August 2002 site for the Quantum Leap Soundtrack sale from Crescendo Records. A very simple and early merchandise sale page.
October 2001 is the destination for this Yahoo Geocities site created by M.J. Cogburn (now of The Virtual Seasons mega-fan fiction site!). Before the notable podcast took the site name, this site featured a simple episode guide, character bios, and quizlets on each season of the series. While you are visiting 2001, click the link to The Virtual Seasons and see an early version of that site as well!
